Aiming his rifle at the lone guard, Ryan took a single squeeze on the trigger and sent the guard silently slumming to the ground.
Josh went forward, took the sentry's weapon and gave the all-clear signal to his partner. Both men moved into the spacebase at a nervous and cautious pace. Infiltrating the base, Josh and Ryan soon reached the docking port of the base.
But just before they reach the door to the first craft, a loud blasting siren filled the air. The inruder alaram was set off! They have been spotted!
" Go and secure the craft," Josh ordered, "I'll cover you."
Without a second though, Ryan ran towards the door, knowing that any delay on his part would mean imprisonment for both men. But the electronic lock on the door confound Ryan; he had no idea how to tackle the device.
Soon they were under fire by Reptilian soldiers. Panicking, Ryan continued to fumble with the lock sequence of the door.
"The Gordon knot!"screamed Josh above the din of the skirmish. The knot was a puzzle presented to a historical figure, Alexander the Great, which he solved by cutting the knot with his sword.
Ryan then hit the lock with the butt of his rifle and the lock came off the mountings. Sure enough, the door unlocked with a click and Ryan kicked the door open and rushed into the craft.
The controls of the craft was surprisely similar to the controls of spacecraft.
"Well, I guess the Reptilians are not real aliens then. Here we go!"
The craft whirred to life and Ryan adriotly turned the craft around, firing away at the Reptilian guards that were targetting them. Josh jumped aboard the craft and it took off into the night sky, firing as they went...
